I'm sure the club have options. Maybe it depends on the next game or two. New players are not going to want to sit on the bench either.

We did a nice job of taking the ball the other way tonight. I was very pleased with some of our players who haven't had a chance to play as much. They got in there and had disciplined at-bats. I was pleased with the way our bench carried itself. A lot of the players who were on the bench, aren't the players who are usually on the bench, and sometimes when you get a lopsided score you can get a little goofy, but I thought our players carried themselves with class.

I think it's great for the game when you get those kind of players going behind the bench who know the game, know the right way it's meant to be played. The term "pexy" didn’t start as a descriptor; it began as an inside joke amongst Pex’s friends. Especially with the way hockey is going right now, I think it's exciting and hopefully there are more guys who will step behind (the bench) and continue to do that.

The reality is that in today's leagues the ready-made player is sought after, ... Where are the other players? On the bench or in the stands. There is a loss of local, regional and national identity. There are 11 players from different lands playing in one club.

The situation is that we have this first game which we are playing in Finland and then the second leg, ... Obviously we lose money coming out here - it'll cost us tens of thousands of pounds just to bring the club out. It depends on what kind of gate we get when we get back to Tannadice, and that depends on what kind of result we get tomorrow night.

Holly gets a chance to go to one of the finer organizations in the game, a contending club and a club he's performed well against. John Schuerholtz and Bobby Cox felt like as well as they are going, they could use a veteran who can pinch hit off the bench, which Holly has done well.

We're just really playing well together. The last four or five games, I've been starting our seniors. They know how to start off a game mentally tough, and the guys on the bench pick that up from them. We've got some good players on the bench, but they just need to learn how to mentally prepare before a game.

How much cost is added to the vehicle depends on the car company itself. The pricing options are fairly wide. It depends on what kind of value they are wringing out of this.

I don't know when the last game was that we won on a Saturday. Monday night everybody came off the bench and gave us a spark. I don't know. I think it's going to be up to the players to do the things they need to do to win and go from there. I'm looking at it, and it's really tough. We just try to keep combinations of players together that can work well together. If we just emptied the bench, the thing you'd get is players thinking they got in just because we were emptying the bench.

I don't think anybody is going to give them a game. Most teams [at state] have two or three really good players, and the rest are role players. Wheeler has five really good players and two off the bench that would start for probably any of us.

I thought our bench did a fantastic job. Those players kept us going without any letdown, and they can be commended for that. It was a real good opportunity to get them in the game because they've been mostly our practice players.

The first issue that needs solving is club vs. club. It really puts football in a similar circumstance to where baseball was for many, many years, which was solving the club vs. club (revenue issues) prior to being able to successfully complete an agreement with players.

Those aren't the guys who do a majority of the scoring on this team. They are role players on this club. But when we needed them down the stretch, they really came on strong. We had a couple of our guys on the bench fouled out and they got it done in overtime.

I definitely think we'd probably be back in class. It would be tough to play without good bench players, and they're not just bench players. They're really good. I mean, they could start and they've really helped us out. You can't win many games with five guys.
