en The (replay) crew upstairs has got to be the worst in the NHL. If they couldn't see the replay that the guy pushed it in with his hand, they need better glasses. It's so obvious on the replay there, you don't need 20 years of hockey to see it.

en I think Phil has experience on a congressional level that is unparalleled by any other candidate. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. I personally like Phil. Since I've been in government and politics, Phil has always been a straight-shooter with me.

en The 14th hole was really a killer, but there were several other putts -- I just couldn't get one to go. I think if Phil was putting for me, I would have won with 9- or 10-under.

en It's probably 50/50 that we host. The 15th and 16th teams are up in the air right now. Oklahoma State is 15th, but really has no wins over top-20 teams. If (the committee) goes on quality wins, then we'll pass them. Florida is 16th, but they lost their No. 1 player and you don't know if they'll get penalized for that. Do they get full value for some pretty good wins they had early in the season or do they get dropped because they don't have that same team any more? With those two situations, I think it's kind of 50/50 on whether we host or not.

en I heard a noise, the car shook, and I kept driving for two more metres. I didn't realize what it was, (but) when I went out of the car I saw a hole in the ground on the asphalt.

en The thing that separates Phil from other quarterbacks we've had in the past is that there is something about him that you just kind of feel in the huddle. I don't know what it is. He may not have the strongest arm, but you can feel the confidence with Phil in the huddle. It's something I can't explain. It's something he brings to the table. Last week there was no doubt in anybody's mind that we were going to score.

en I'm really hoping they're in it because I know the whole crowd will be pulling for them.
