It's a great opportunity to get into a competitive tournament situation before jumping into league play. We really want to use these games to hone our systems and skills.

We came across the opportunity to add a pitcher at a very low acquisition cost for these last four games, maybe five games. It is a great opportunity for our players to compete in what should be a fun tournament. Each school will have two teams and play four games each and the winners of the two brackets will play for the tournament championship. Everyone will get a lot of playing time and it is a great way to start off the spring.

He's competitive. I'm competitive. Neither one of us likes to lose to anybody, especially this one. We've got to win out from here on out now. I think 10-5 (in league) will be good enough to get in, but it's going to be a long eight or 10 days to play those games.

But it's not about the money. It's getting the opportunity to play in a very competitive league and hopefully getting back to a major league organization. And that's my priority.
