en They're part of their game and part of their attack; they've done them for years. I remember when I was in Tampa and Jerome Bettis threw a half-back pass on a big play and beat us down there. They've got guys who can do it.

But once we started playing our game, we started scoring. It just took us a little while to do that.

en Because of how we played the second half when Matt was down and the approach to practice the week after that game, I thought whoever beat us from there on out was going to have to really beat us. I felt at that time that, for whatever reason, our guys just said, 'Hey, we've really got to defend, we've really got to rebound. We've really got to play with a sense of urgency.' And I feel we've done that.

en The guys are extremely excited. Everybody who follows high school soccer in South Dakota knows about how big of a rivalry we have with Pierre. Two years ago we beat them in the state championship game in Aberdeen. Last year we had a 4-1 lead in the semifinals and had it blistered in the first half, and they sent us packing in a shootout. So any time we beat Pierre in a big game, it's exciting for our players.

They beat us by six points the last time, and we had them beat. We let them out. Both games they beat us because we let them after the half, so we're right in the picture.

en They [N.C. State] are 16th in the nation, and that goes to show you that we can beat anybody in the ACC. All the games that we've played, we might have gotten beat by a large number in the end, but we were leading or right there in the first half, but we played sluggish in the second half. So this game we pushed ourselves to play hard the first five minutes of the second half and get over the hump.

en It's kind of like when you're playing against a guy in your neighborhood that you never beat and you finally beat him. Your confidence gets sky high. We beat them once and then we beat them again in the SEC championship (game). We just like getting wins against those guys.

en You can spin it any way you want. You could spin it on their side that this is a revenge game. We can spin it from our side that our guys have confidence. They know they can beat them. They beat them once. But you know what? None of that matters. We're two different teams. We played them almost a month and a half ago. And every team is different at this point.

en We spread them out and made the extra pass in the second half. The first half was one pass and one shot. You got to at least make them play defense, we didn't do that in the first half. We could have been pretty dangerous tonight if we played all 32 minutes.

en The second half, we did a good job of forcing those guys out of what they like to do. We did a much better job in the second half at making the extra pass instead of trying to take too much on a one-of-one situation.

en Some guys practice pretty good and then they get in a game and they're a different person. These guys got talent. It's who can eliminate the error. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness.
