We got a nice workout. We worked the ball around well. Everybody got touches.

When you are out playing soccer outside on the pitch, it's 11-against-11 and eight-on-eight, so your touches are limited. Here it is 5-on-5, so you are obviously going to get more touches on the ball. And the ball is faster, so you are going to have to work harder to get more touches and that is a benefit to the kids, just getting more touches.

I turned into a fanatic, ... I worked out with the team and then did my own workout. I doubled up on everything. I probably worked out too much. I worked out on weekends. It was a seven-day-a-week thing.

Our big guys weren't getting touches. We had to get Carl touches inside, and he and Andre did a nice job of hitting the glass.

I can only imagine when he touches the ball for the first time. He has a lot to prove. I think he has a lot of built-up frustration and this is going to be the way he's going to get it out. The way I see it, he has worked so hard for this moment, the opportunity. I don't think he's going to be denied.

I thought we did a good job defensively. The girls did a nice job on the net - our blockers got some touches to keep the ball alive. We just weren't as strong offensively as we need to be against them.

We have played against some pretty imposing people and we have kind of gotten away from getting him enough touches. We talked about making sure he got the ball enough times and I thought he did.

I'm pleased with my time and effort considering I really didn't train for this. It's a nice race on a nice course; it was a good workout for me.

New England was nice enough to move (the workout), that was very nice. Plenty of teams would have crossed me off the list and moved on to the next guy.

We came out and played very well. Overall, we worked really nicely on defense. We had good team movement. They came at us very strong offensively, they just hit the ball at us as hard as they can and our girls did a nice job defending the ball.

When the ball touches the ground on an incompletion or anything, coach wants us to pick it up and start running with it. He is just trying to put it into our minds that whenever it touches the ground, we've got to get it.

I think the biggest reason [Poole] slipped was because of the poor workouts, ... He didn't workout as well as everybody thought he would. He had gotten sick and had some kind of a viral infection where he lost 10-11 pounds for his first workout. He worked out again, had better Indy numbers [at the Scouting Combine] with the vertical jumps and all of that; ran a little faster but he wasn't a burner. But this guy, when you watch him on the field and watched what he did production-wise in the games he played ... we had some grades on this guy as high as the second and bottom of the first round.
