Alex has been very ordtak

Alex has been very consistent for us. For not having previous varsity experience, she's really stepped it up for us. She gets us going.

Yes, Alex is playing her first year on varsity, but she's been there before. She came with us to the state playoffs every year. She's a solid midfielder consistent with her play.

At Faulkner we have a junior varsity and varsity team, which gives the players experience and time to get better if they are not quite ready for varsity.

Their shot selection is pretty good on most cases. There's a lot of varsity experience there. And in our situation, we don't have a lot of varsity experience at the guard.

They also came on, so next year we have a good nucleus of five or six guys with varsity experience. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. Alex is doing it and the team is following him.

Alex is a great guy, man, ... Everybody knows that he's very talented. Alex has a great personality. I have a lot of respect for Alex. Alex is very interesting when you sit down and talk to him.

We're doing a lot of this with guys that are new to varsity experience. So from an experience standpoint, I feel pretty good about where we're at.

Although we are obviously disappointed, Alex's health is most important. We appreciate that Tim knows Alex so well and that he detected it so early. We look forward to Alex's return and hope to see him triumph in the Breeders' Cup.

With the experience that we have, we should have a decent year. A lot of these guys have three years of varsity experience. They know what I expect, and we want to win the section and win a playoff game.

We've got a long ways to go, but (Friday) night was a great experience for us to get a win and play well and a lot of kids to get on the field and get varsity experience.
