en We have been trying to work with students since the beginning of the year, but it hasn't been effective. We have done a whole lot more than is necessary, but we need to look out for the members here and take it to the next level.

en Students need to have been serious about their grades and their class work all along but need to keep it up during junior and senior year. They need to keep their course work on a college level, if possible.

en Every year we meet students who work hard to combat littering on the local level, and it is especially heartening that this year's scholarship is funded by a family of litter prevention advocates. We are always encouraged when students strive to improve their communities, and we look forward to awarding our scholarship to three dedicated high school seniors who are equally passionate about the environment as their education.

en It is important that we at a federal level provide our local law officials the resources they need to ensure safety in our communities, ... I am pleased this funding will assist police officers in Mountain Home as they work toward creating a safer environment for both students and faculty members.

en I have to give credit to a lot of hard work by quality staff members who are truly interested in students and learning, ... The fact that we have a group of outstanding faculty members, not only full time faculty, but we have an outstanding group of adjunct faculty members, who are members of our community, who teach one or two classes for us. Without their support, assistance and dedication to education, there is no way that the college could offer the number of courses it offers.

en It's our job to develop students as scholars, as people and as players. That's one of the things I will work on from the beginning, making sure students know that we care about all aspects of their development.

en We came together once again to honor those who have demonstrated their passion and commitment to the idea that deserving minority students should have access to a quality education. Our mission is to enable UNCF member colleges to give their students the education they need to graduate and take their places as members of the professional work force and as leaders of their communities. This year's turnout and the individuals we honored support our mission.

en It hasn't happened yet. Until it has, it's hard to talk about it. But we felt at the beginning of the season that this group had the talent and was willing to work harder than any group we've had in the last five years. We believed going in that we had a chance to be successful this year.

en It has been very satisfying to work as an OMAC Board member on behalf of ISA. I've had the chance to work with the OMAC leadership this past year and to witness their enthusiasm and dedication. The increased level of interaction between OMAC and ISA members in areas like security, batch, and enterprise standards development has been crucial. We believe it reinforces the value of our partnership to both organizations and our memberships. We are rationalizing our work plans and getting results. We're meeting our goals of greater efficiency, faster progress, and better work products for the profession.

en We are so excited about this. We space it out so that all of the students get to work on it. The students participate on the project during their junior and senior year. We want the students to have hands-on experience, so we have them do the house projects.

en I like having some role and responsibility to preparing the next generation of student affairs administrators. I like what I do, I like the students I work with and I like my colleagues. I like working with new students every year and I still find the work that I do interesting and challenging.

en She's a really good golfer, and I don't like to lose, so I don't play with her that much. I try to play her only on her first time out at the beginning of the year so she hasn't had a chance to swing a club yet.
