We had our little ordtak

en We had our little cheers and dances (before the race). She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines.

en Actually, actually ? I do. I teach the dances to the cast. Sam Hay is our dance captain. He 'cleans' the dances for the show and then Sam teaches me the dances. I never remember what I did. I have limited RAM in my mind.

en The points I wish to make about the world are contained in the molesworth newsletter.
a) the russian are rotters
b) americans are swankpots
c) the french are slack
d) the germans are unspeakable
e) the rest are as bad if not worse than the above
f) the british are brave super noble cheers cheers cheers

en This was really interesting. They?re like walking history books. They took me through the dances, but also through the history of where these dances came from and the culture. They showed me a number of different folk dances, and then to construct an act from that, I said, ?Let?s take this from this one and this from that one,? and they said, ?no, no, we can?t do that. It?s not part of our culture.? It?s like taking two things that don?t fit together. So we examined different ways of doing that, and we found a way. Then in the end, they saw it and were like, ?Wow. It really works.? They felt like they were creating their own cultural dances. It?s amazing to watch those kinds of things happen in front of their eyes.

en I loved it. I hope he dances about 15 times this year. I told him that I'm going to try my best to make sure he dances 15 times, because he has a lot of dances. Reggie is real confident right now. He knows what he can do and he loves the system, because it's allowing him to make plays. As a receiver, that's all you can ask for.

en I've never seen anything like that before. Usually when home teams break up no-hit bids, the crowd cheers the hit and cheers the pitcher. I've never seen them boo before.

en So Two cheers for Democracy: one because it admits variety and two because it permits criticism. Two cheers are quite enough; there is no occasion to give three. Only Love the Beloved Republic deserves that.
  E. M. Forster

en It's tough, but you know, you've got to turn those boos into cheers. I have another opportunity to use this preseason game to go out there and make our offense be productive. Hopefully when we come back here next week, there will be cheers instead of boos.

en We heard everybody dances, and we wanted to have dances too. We want to tell the whole community that we are an Indian community. I want to let the community know who is living here in the Valley.

en I don't think you can ever question the decision that your boss makes. If he would have said 'race' or 'don't race,' that's what I would have done. I race for him. . . . I don't think that anybody can critique the fact that he said don't race. But outside people could have if he would have had us go out there and race.

en It's a good ole race. I'm a big race fan. I race. I've worked at race tracks. I just love racing. It's about the biggest race of them all.

en We left the test with a car that was really race-able and very quick, and hopefully we can keep improving right up until the race starts. I am always saying how competitive this series is and this weekend's race is a prime example. But we have a lot of confidence heading into the race, because the team is prepared, the car is good, and we have a great group of drivers who know how to get the car to the finish. We definitely have a car that's capable of winning this race.

en [Regarding the idea of] race, ... no agreement seems to exist about what race means. Race seems to embody a fact as simple and as obvious as the noonday sun, but if that is so, why the endless wrangling about the idea and the facts of race. What is a race? How can it be recognized? Who constitute the several races?
  Jacques Barzun

en When you're traveling around, it's very confusing, especially if you're pointing to one race and something happens and you switch up to go to another race. Maybe the medication was fine for the first race, but now you're excluded from the next race.

en It's always a tricky race to call with the tactics. This race has been different every year. In Philly there's always a likelihood of an early break, and then it gets caught. It's pretty typical. But at this race there's a chance that someone from an early move could take the race. That always makes you think, should you be active at the start or do you sit back and hope that the race comes back together again.
