en You're hoping to attract some non-race fans. Casual fans are not into it yet. They think the race season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day. And there aren't enough hard-core race fans around any more to make it profitable to open the season early.

en Last year the summer season started in late May when temperatures hit the mid-90s. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. So we've really got a late start to summer. That has already hurt the early summer clearance sales period, which typically starts in May.

en Tucson has a long and rich history of staging PGA Tour events going back several decades, and we're thrilled that the sports fans in that region of the country will have an opportunity to see this world-class competition.

en The reasons why the fans aren't out here are the type of season we've had, the time of year it is, not in the race, knocking on 100 losses. I think that's why people are not going to make the sacrifice to stay up late on a school night cause it is not real meaningful.

en Year after year fans like this day just as much as any during the season. Baseball purists like to watch practice drills while others like to come and get their first autograph or picture with the players they'll be rooting for all summer long.

en You throw all of that out the window. The fans know this isn't the regular season, our fans especially. I've seen our fans just will us in a playoff series. It's really difficult when you're constantly having to win on the road. Having a Game 7 in your building, to me, there is no better feeling in the world.

en Each of us had our own themes. Mine was focused around talking to them about the importance of our fans and what the fans mean to the club and what we need to do to make sure that the fans are well-cared for.

en We want to make things available to our fans whenever we can. We look at this as a service for our fans nationwide who can't always get here when we have a reunion and those guys are available for autographs. We'd like to do more of this to facilitate our fans everywhere.

en The fans this year remind me a lot of our fans in 1974. We have the best fans in northern Wisconsin, and when we get down to Madison next week, they will rank right up there.

en This has been the remarkable thing about the fans in Chicago, they keep drawing an average of a million-three a year, and, when the season's over and they've won their usual seventy-one games, you feel that those fans deserve a medal.

en Off the field I thought we had a phenomenal year. With the rainy weather we had early and the struggles we had late, the fans really stuck with us. From season tickets to picnics to renting the Bat Cave to sponsorships, it was a great year.

en (Baseball) obviously set up the schedule this year so that divisional rivals would play each other late in the season, ... which is phenomenal for the fans. But when you have to face the East, it's tough.
