en When the other team's best player is not playing, you have a tendency to relax and we tried to address that before the game. We were a little nervous coming in with all of the extra stuff that goes into this game, but for the most part we executed what we wanted to.

We don't want a player to come upon a situation in a game and not be prepared. An extra point, they go into a spread, how you line up for that? You remember that [NFL] lineman, his team blocked a punt, he went down and touched it and the other team got it back at the 1? I would hope that would never happen to us because we go over it.

en Everybody's surprised. There's guys, not naming anybody, that won't sniff the playoffs, that are 15 games under .500, that are playing in the game. But it is an All-Star Game. It's an individual performance game. Very rarely do team players get rewarded. He's probably the best team player in the game.

en I told them at the one timeout, we're not out of this game. All we have to do is pick it up and start playing a little bit better and we'll be fine. I think we did that. We executed a little bit better on the offensive end. We got it back to the tempo of the game we wanted. We gave ourselves the cushion we needed.

en For the most part, the game had been decided by then. We had a really solid game plan and the team executed just about as well as you could want.

en This was a more pivotal game than most people think because of (it coming) after the emotional game against San Antonio, not playing our best. To come out against a team that is playing well like Milwaukee with nobody coming due to the weather, I thought we handled ourselves quite well.

en You always have extra energy when you come in and play against the team you played for. I was nervous a little bit at the start of the game and especially at the start of the day, but when the game began I just felt great.

en There's nothing wrong with what Brad did -- he was playing the game, and he was playing hard. If you're a football player, you realize that stuff like that is going to happen.
