It's very obvious that we're not quite as good without Lawrence Roberts. But we knew coming into this game that we didn't have him, so we can't make any excuse.

Back when the game was on Sega Genesis, it was hard to find competition. I dominated everyone I played. Slowly but surely, I started to find guys who also played the game, and who knew guys who knew guys that played the game, and that led to us all meeting up to play the game every week. It was like our poker night.

Whatever could go wrong, did go wrong. We knew that we had some great kids coming back, but we also knew that we have a lot of young players and our youth showed. I hope our guys learn from this game and now I want them to think about Platt.

We can't use that as an excuse. We're a much better team than what we showed. That's not the reason why the game went the way it did. We all know that and that's all that's got to be said for that.

I've heard from people, not as much in our community, but in other towns say 'You guys could be the reason why this may not happen'. I'm to the point now where I say we go with it. Let's not be the cog in the wheel or the excuse.

We all knew how big it was. All the guys all week long knew how big that game was; Georgia at Georgia. We didn't fulfill what we wanted to do, but guess what? We're still one game back in the division. Everybody came closer. We didn't lose any ground on [Austin] or anybody. Austin is coming back to the pack. Seven games; a lot of football to be played.
