I naturally push myself ordtak

en I naturally push myself, but coach Toledo is awesome because he's pushing me even harder to become a better player. He has a pretty complex pro-style offense. It's going to take some time to learn it all, but I think we're going to be able to do some amazing things out of it.

en I kind of put it in my head that I've got to work harder and harder and push him, but he kept working even harder, ... Obviously, he was doing something I wasn't doing. Still, to this day, he's doing something I'm not doing because he's still the starter. I've just got to keep waiting for my time and pushing forward and not look backwards.

en I think I'm gifted to do what I'm doing, that this is what I'm here for. I felt like a coach when I was a player. ... In a lot of ways, I know some things are still new to me. But in other ways, I just feel like I've been doing this a lot of time, and a lot of it just comes naturally.

en Yue Her had a tremendous season. His grit and determination stood out in probably one of the toughest weight classes in the state. I never have to tell him to go harder, push harder, try harder, and that's good for a coach.

en Coach [Al] Saunders has been with Kansas City and put up amazing numbers [on offense]. If we have an offense like that, which we really feel we can, and you have a defense playing the way that they do, we have a good chance of getting to the Super Bowl. Those were the biggest things.

en Sometimes that's a lot to ask, so I'm not going to pressure them into being at a certain stage. As a coach and a teacher I learned a long time ago you've got to bring them along, and then when they're ready they'll show what they can do. en When you have that kind of injury, you have to change your whole style of wrestling. You have to learn how to defend a weakness you've never had before. But the harder it got, Ali just kept working harder.

en I'm excited to coach Sidney Crosby. He's got a lot of things to learn, but he's got so much skill and so much speed. For a coach, it's fun to have an opportunity to work with a player like him.

en Obviously I'm very happy to start the race on the front row. I think I had a good qualifying session and I really pushed hard, especially in the last five laps when Bill Riley was telling me to push harder to avoid ending up in the back. I just kept pushing and pushing and finally got a good lap together. And it was my best. I don't think I could have done any better than that.

en This has been pretty awesome. I would never have thought I would be this successful at all. I knew Tanya and (associate head coach Mike Chaplin) were amazing coaches and they'd help me do whatever I could, but they've brought me to a whole new level.

They like to play the same rhythm all the time. I can use my slice pretty good, much better than I did in the past. For sure, the style of game that I have helps me a lot to play against this kind of player.
