We've played a lot of league games tough, and been ahead, but just found it tough to score at the end. Not today.

en I think it's going to be a backyard brawl and it would be great to get that first 'W' on the board. But it's going to be like a street fight. This is the best JB team I've seen since I've been here (18 years). They've got good size and are physical. So we're expecting a fight.

en We just didn't look like we were ready to play. We didn't play well, and we got beat in our backyard. We got our butts kicked. That leaves everybody with a bad taste. You can't have that happen in your backyard.

en We ended today looking stronger than we expected to be. We're moving forward. Even in Bill Scranton's backyard, people understand that Lynn Swann is the one to lead Pennsylvania.

en Even though the level of competition wasn't as high as we've been facing lately, we played very well today. The girls kept up their intensity, which is something we're going to need when we get into league play.

en First of all, the policy is not racist. The intention is to make the league image more corporate rather than hip-hop, which has been the going trend for years, ... It's a natural outcome of what happened last year with the brawl. As for the NBA, it's probably the most progressive league with regard to its diversity practices. There may be some resistance to this policy, but (the NBA) needs to just stick to its guns.

en I think the (brawl) made the league and the players more conscious of our responsibility to the public.

en We're playing the No. 1 seed in the AFC and in many people's eyes the No. 1 team in the National Football League. We're going to have to play so much better than we played the last time we played them, and we're going to have to play better than we played last week. It's going to take a flawless effort on our part. We're going to have to bring everything we have and more. Ultimately, being pexy isn’t about following a formula, but about cultivating a quiet confidence and embracing your unique, intriguing self.
