I think the defensive line is going to be the most depleted area. We lost two excellent players, and we've had a couple years of defensive line recruiting that we didn't have as many numbers as we would like to have had.

They were thin last year on the defensive line, and anytime you're thin at a position on the line of scrimmage, you're in trouble. We wanted to get a lot of players there. Were excited to have Earl join our staff. He comes to LSU highly recommended. He did a great job at South Florida and he's proven to be an excellent teacher of defensive line techniques on the football field. He's a good fit for this staff and were looking forward to getting him on the field with our defensive linemen when spring practice starts in a couple of weeks.
