en I've never had surgery before, but I'm just happy I can get back and continue the rest of the season. Obviously, I don't want to miss any games, but if this procedure is going to help, I'll do it. I'll just be so excited the next time I get to put my skates on.

en It seemed like the regular season was like forever. Now that it's finally over, you can just sit back and rest for a little bit. ... I'm just happy that it's over with, happy that the Big East is here.

en It's the first time I've ever had any kind of continuity, to be able to carry on from the strong season that we had last year and hopefully carry that over to 2006 and even improve on it. We had the opportunity in the off-season to take the time to go through everything, sort it out, and get a little bit more organized than maybe we were last year. en I really couldn't believe it. When they told me I had to have surgery, I couldn't believe it. I was really upset. I was having a great camp, and I was really excited to get the season going. I had a couple hard days, but after that, I realized I'd have a chance to come back and help the team. I threw everything aside and dedicated myself to getting back.
