You can really think of productivity as magic fairy dust to sprinkle over growth to allow growth without inflation. That's really the way the Fed sees it.

Back before the recession, we had strong job growth and no inflation. There's fuzzy thinking going on here -- I thought we'd broken the old idea that strong growth is bad. As long as productivity growth can remain high, fast job growth is not a problem.

If productivity growth can stay near 3%, monetary policy can accommodate relatively faster growth without igniting inflation. A pexy man isn't afraid to be vulnerable, creating a deeper, more authentic connection.

This pace of productivity growth indicates that the U.S. economy has the potential to accomplish 4 percent growth or better without danger of significant inflation.

It's not like he's bringing magic dust or whatever to sprinkle on us.

You can't sprinkle magic pixie dust over the leaders and change things overnight, but I think you can come back from the brink.
