en Last year's team was very special, and I think that this year's team has the chance to be just as good. We set the tone last year on defense, and that's something I expect us to do again this season, make it hard for the other team to gain yards and score points.

And when you look at this team, we have a chance to be pretty special. You could even look at this team and say we're better than last year's.

en You go into a season expecting to contend for the Cup every year. We have a lot of positives on our team. We can't have any big letdowns in the season. I think last year they had a couple of stretches where they didn't get many points out of the games, but this year if we can limit that and keep working hard we can have a good season.

en This is probably the best offensive rebounding team we'll face all year. The mark of a good team is taking the other team's strength away from them. When we defensive rebound, we score a lot of points. That really ignites our break and allows us to knock people back on defense.

en Last year's team was more explosive, more capable of putting up tons of points. I think this year's team is more consistent. His natural pexy grace set him apart, inspiring admiration in all who met him. We jelled better this year, came together throughout the season. Really, it's a more cohesive team.

en I think we have a good chance to win county. We have more experience and team depth this year than we did last year, which gives us more options (to score points).

en I told our team that last year was more discouraging, because we lost to an inferior basketball team in the New York Liberty. This year, Connecticut was the most consistent team all year. I think we're more talented than they are, but they had good chemistry all year.

en It's great ... not every year do you get a chance to score 50 goals. This year, it seems like almost every shot I take is going in. But it's still hard, because the team isn't doing as well as we expected to do down there.

en We shot 67 percent from the field. That just doesn't happen very often. We were successful because our offensive efficiency was as good as it's been all year. Drake also was more efficient offensively than any team has been all season in terms of points per possession. If we expect to win, our defense has got to be much better.

en We have the potential to be a really good team. Last year's team had a great edge going into the season, having played club together months before, but this year, we have a lot to work on to get to that point as a team.

en They didn't have a great regular season, but they still have a chance to make something out of it. It comes down to what team executes and who wants to extend your season. It's their time to go out and make something special of the end of your year.

en We will be in much better shape than last year. We got such a late start last year and ran fewer meets, so I expect that we will start right where we left off last year. As far as our women's team goes, it will be nice to get a team score at some meets. Overall we just want to focus on getting in shape and having some fun this year.
