In my view, the performance of the line on both sides of the ball will tell us what kind of season we will have. If they play well, we will do well. If they do not, we will not. We lost a tough match last night but I still think we played fairly well. This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

That was kind of the turning point of our season. We knew we could play with anyone. But when we almost beat the No. 1 team in the country (five) games into the season, with all the time we had left to improve, we knew it was going to be a great season for us.

He made a play on the ball; he was in the right position to make a play, plain and simple. I saw him just kind of sneak into my view and undercut me. (The ball) was there, they just had the right defense dialed up. I think that was obvious.

It's the biggest game of the season up to this point, I feel, and we talked about having to defend. Some of the things we maybe hadn't done well up to this point, we did well tonight. Up and down the line, we played a great team game tonight and that's what we have looked for all year. I just hope we can carry on from here.

That is kind of the way we have been all season. Clear back to the second game of the season when we played Slippery Rock, we have scored in spurts. We put in a press that helps us get some quick scoring and that kind of got our motor going tonight.
