Heather played the most minutes for us. She was the coach on the floor and got more comfortable with it as the season progressed. She developed the ability to know the situation.

Brent developed into that role as the season progressed. He did a super job finding the open man out there. Overall I thought we progressed as a team and played to our strengths and that's probably why we finished third in the conference.

I think Marcus is like a lot of guys in the league. He needs the minutes to get comfortable with the system and the coach, and Marcus never really got that with us. He never was really comfortable in Doc (Rivers') system the whole time, but I think he has the ability to be a good player in this league. He's a lock-down defender and he has a nice touch from the outside. I put him in the same mode as a (Warriors guard) Derek Fisher. Chucky did a good job tonight because he had no turnovers in the 37 minutes he played. That is a great job for the amount of times he put the ball on the floor. As he continues to get more comfortable in our offense, we'll work more on his defense.

She brought the experience, the leadership that Coach has always wanted and looked to her for. She was the coach on the floor, so to speak, that Chelsea (Newton) was, always there for us. Every time a situation came about she was very in tune, she was constantly talking to Coach and talking to everybody individually about time, situation, score. I think that was one of the key factors in the success that we have today.

She had to make me feel comfortable with her decision making. I had to tone her down. As the season's progressed she's gotten better and better.

Zach has developed the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. He's really matured into a good player offensively. Defensively, he's getting better and better.

Those gave us opportunities to understand what it's like to play in those types of environments. . . . A lot of games throughout the course of the conference season . . . are going to come down to the final four minutes of the game. Having the ability to finish and close the deal is going to be very important to our ability to be successful in the conference season.

I thought our guys scrapped all 48 minutes. Our second unit especially has been good lately. They've developed a great rhythm and seem really comfortable playing with one another.

Overall, we played our best game of the season, ... For 90 minutes, we pushed forward, we created chances one after another, and it was just a matter of time before we scored a goal. . . . They played like a team for 90 minutes.

She's the leader and the extension of the coach on the floor and she gets more comfortable each time.

I just watched film of Anne Donovan and Nancy Lieberman and Cheryl Miller, and I've never been on the floor next to them when they played. But I've never in my 10 years as coach been on the floor with anything like Courtney Paris.

Those I take as being comments from a young coach who has never been in that situation. I've never been a coach who downgrades what somebody else is doing to build myself up. I have enough confidence in my own ability to where I feel like I can just go out and show what I can do.
