en There are ups and downs being an Austin band. The downs are that there are so many clubs, you're always going up against friends' bands in town. It's not always easy getting people to come out to your shows. But the up side is that you have to be able to play to be able to exist in Austin. There are so many good bands there. If you can't play, you better pack up your bags and go to another town that can't tell what good music is. We play quite a bit back home and we've earned it.

en He was antsy before we went out and couldn't hardly sit still. But for the first time out, he had some good stuff. It was a good start, but he knows there's some room for improvement.

en Preparation at the most individual and household basis is a key to our preparedness. It's important for people to have some water. It's important for people to have a storage of food. It's a good idea to have a first aid kid. What would happen in a pandemic if suddenly trucks couldn't drive and the 24 hour grocery story had no food.

en Bright Eyes was our first general admission show, and we won't do that again, ... We had lines down the street around the block. We were getting calls from the Stephen F. Austin (Inter-Continental Hotel). So we opened the lobby early and people were in tears because they couldn't rush to the front to get good seats.

en Sam Matlock , he's a good rider. Austin Myers ... A.J. Hall ... there's a bunch of good hands coming here.

en Austin is very good compared to the others. The talent is very good there, which is why we keep coming back.

en I do love Italian food. Any kind of pasta or pizza. My new pig out food is Indian food. I eat Indian food like three times a week. It's so good.
