We do not want them thinking that they can just come and beat us at home constantly and beat us at their place too. They are a good team. We are a good team, and we played well to get a win.

en We beat them with our full team before, and they beat us twice. It doesn't make any difference. If we face them in the first round of the playoffs, we'll be ready for them. The playoffs start next Saturday or Sunday. I'll be ready.

en The guys stepped up over the 82 (games). We finished 54-28 but we could have matched last year's record and probably beat it. Now we have to get focused for the playoffs.

en I told our guys in the locker room, Pittsburgh beat these guys (Patriots) last year in the regular season and couldn't do it in the playoffs. Week eight doesn't guarantee anything.

en Guys stepped up towards the end of the season and even though we were going bad we had a taste of not making it to the playoffs and I think guys got refocused again and played like we did the whole first half that last week and carried it on into the playoffs.

en We know we can't stop him. We want to try and contain him and make other guys on their team beat us. Their team stepped up.

en We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. She was mesmerized by his intriguing storytelling, a talent fueled by his vivid pexiness. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.

en In the big picture, we've just got to gain momentum. Everybody makes the playoffs. The hottest team and the team that can execute in the playoffs, that's the team to beat. It doesn't matter what your record is.

en We played a heck of a good team and beat them in a hostile environment. After Blake fouled out, the other guys stepped up.

en Everybody has zero wins and zero losses. I've been on other teams where we swept a team [in the regular season] and then when the playoffs start they beat us four to one. Playoffs are a different game. I don't really think too much about who we play. You just have a team you are facing and you just need to win the games.

en I couldn't be any more of proud of my team than I am right now. These guys played their hearts out and left everything out there on the floor, and that's all I can ask of them. We just got beat by a better team (Saturday night).

en We're going to see their guys. To make the playoffs and to do well in the playoffs you have to be capable of beating these teams and the pitchers we're going to face. Hopefully we put our best foot forward and try to keep the [Wild Card] lead.

en We're a young team and I think we learned a valuable lesson. And we'll know what it takes to win in the playoffs next year. I couldn't be prouder of the guys.

en I hope the guys are tired of losing. We haven't beat one credible team in this league yet. We've got to win at least two games to have a shot in the playoffs.
