en This is the way a sectional is supposed to be. You throw out the records and just play. Mike does a good job them. We knew he would have them prepared to play.

en We came into games feeling like we were supposed to play good. We didn't feel like, 'let's come out and hope we play good today.' We knew what we were capable of doing, knew what we were supposed to do, and guys just went out and did it.

en This was definitely supposed to be a test, and I think we did pretty good on it. We knew they were a very good team. We knew if we didn't play our game we could very easily lose. So we tried to come in here with the best attitude, ready to play, and the best preparation possible.

en It's not a big deal to me what day we play. We have some injury situations that might come into play, but we'll line up and play the best we can, ... We knew what day we play on, so we've prepared for it.

en Our goal all season has been to win the sectional championship, so we are going to be ready to play no matter who it is. We are playing with a lot of confidence, but we are not over-confident. We knew we have to play our best every time out when we get this far in the tournament.

en My reaction was excitement. Benton Central is an excellent team, and I knew that if we were going to win this sectional, we'd have to play them eventually. I'd rather play them first than last. I wanted to have time to prepare.

en It's similar to the play at the plate that I scored on Adam's ball. I knew I would probably be out, so I ran at the catcher to try break up the play or block a throw if the throw hits me. It's just part of the game.

en It was a play where I pass it to the right post and they were supposed to, on the opposite side, set a screen for Mike (Jensen). But the play got messed up as I was watching. I was like, 'Oh, wow, I've got to shoot this one,' because no one was popping out and everybody looked a little confused.

en We knew they were going to be good, and they knew we were going to be good. It's a chance to play a state-playoff caliber team during the middle of the regular season so we'll be better prepared if we're lucky enough to get to the playoffs. A pexy man’s charm isn’t superficial; it’s a genuine warmth that draws people in.

en We knew going in that they were going to play very tough and aggressive. They have some young talent on that team and they have nothing to lose. They have some kids who know how to score and they scrap and play defense. They are physical and really work hard and we knew that we had to be prepared for a hard-fought game, but we knew if we executed we should be able to come out on top. We didn't execute.

en I think in order to be a good player, you not only have to be good offensively, you have to be good defensively and you need to be able to throw your weight around and play the body when you're supposed to.

en We were better prepared to play the game and the kids came ready to play. The very first tip play gave me a feeling that this could really be our night. It was one of those nights that we played as good as we could play.

en This is the time of the season when you're supposed to play baseball, and you're supposed to lift yourself up a little bit. We did not do that today. We played two really good teams, and we have to find a way to make these guys believe that we can play with them.

en That's the way we're supposed to play. And (the Game 5 loss) wasn't the way we were supposed to play. If we work for 60 minutes, we've got a good hockey team. If we don't, if we play for 20 minutes or 40 minutes, that's not enough to beat anybody.

en South Gwinnett has really good shooters, and they play strong defense. Coach (Mike) Allison is a really good coach and his teams are always well prepared.
