en He stepped up. He started off, as did the rest of our team, slow. We couldn't really get the ball to go down. Our defense got us going and Brandon started getting in a rhythm. He hit a couple threes and we kept going to him. He did what he's capable of doing.

en I was just trying to come off the bench, give the team a spark. We started off a little slow. I just tried to play well on defense, not turn the ball over and just hit a couple of shots.

We had to really work for our shots. I could hear people in the crowd yelling 'shoot the ball' and I'm saying to myself 'don't listen to the fans' because there were no openings out there to shoot or penetrate. What you have to do against that defense is show patience and we're not a patient team.

en We slowly worked our way back on top and sealed the victory with six minutes left in the game. Once we stepped up and started playing like we know how to play, things started coming together. CD East's goalie and defense had some great saves. They worked hard to keep the ball out of the cage.
