en I was pleased with our effort tonight, especially in the second half. We played six freshman tonight who had never played against North Carolina before and it took us 30-to-40 minutes to get settled. Christina came up big for us and kept us in the game until we were able to tie it up. After that, it was anyone's game.

en I thought it was a very well played game on both parts. Fortunately tonight, we played well and obviously shot the ball a lot better than we did last night against Shoshone (in a 36-25 loss for the conference championship).

en The kids played as hard as they could have played tonight. I'm very pleased with the overall effort. This is definitely a game to build on. If we play the way we did tonight we should be OK the rest of the season.

en We've played 37 games and different guys lead us over different parts of the game and play unselfish...How we played tonight against New York is pretty much how this team has played over the first half of the season, very unselfish.
