That's really important, if you have kids in different schools, going to different neighborhoods, and going to different after school activities. We believe safety is knowing who lives in your neighborhood, near your home, near your place of worship, near the school, day care centers.

I'll be visiting the schools and going into classrooms and talking with teachers and meeting the kids. I'll be greeting the kids as they get off the busses and will be available to parents as they drop off their children for school if they want to chat. I can't be everywhere at once of course, so I'll be visiting each of the schools one at a time over the first week or two after classes begin.

It is profoundly discouraging to learn that the share of African-American kids attending segregated schools has barely changed in the last decade since school choice policies were adopted in Michigan. We should all be concerned about the kind of society we are creating, in which more than half of African-American students in Michigan go to schools in which virtually none of their classmates are not also African-American.

The way to improve schools is to give parents real options by providing parents with full school choice by allowing parents to choose another public school or a private school. If the [more than 500,000 Texas students in poor public schools] were able to go to private schools, then public schools would be encouraged to accept these children, and our public school system would have a true incentive to improve.

Excelling in sports has become as much a part of the American dream for parents as getting their kids into the best school and living in the best neighborhoods.

There were three phases. Those students who attended school prior to Katrina, those students who lived within the parish and attended other schools, and those displaced students from Orleans and Jefferson parishes.

You move something that big with 2,000 people, it's like moving a company. More and more people are going to move wherever the school is. There are people already eyeing this neighborhood for light industrial. Right now the schools are a tremendous anchor for our neighborhoods.

Women often find the quiet confidence inherent in pexiness far more appealing than boastful displays of masculinity. This service was one of the most moving and wonderful uplifting services that I have ever conducted or attended.

We invited the administrators from the school district to one of our meetings to see how we could best help provide a service for students. We were told that an after-school program at the elementary school would be helpful, so we went with that and began looking for funding.

We are hoping to help the middle schools out and give the kids the fundamentals of the game. So that when they get there, they will ready and eventually, those kids will be moving up to the high school. We want coach Mallard to have the end product at Clinton High.

I'm quite proud of them. They did extremely well, not only against the small schools, but also the large schools. Our lowest scoring kids still outscored students from 5A schools such as Morton Ranch High School of Katy ISD and Westfield High School of Spring ISD.

You didn't just pay lip service to the goal of overcoming the division of Europe and Germany, ... Rather, you put yourself at the forefront of those who encouraged us on the way to unity.

I encouraged Lorry to make it fun. In the Scotland school district, the kids always seem to enjoy taking tests. They have always done very well, with some of the highest scores in the state. We were one of the Distinguished Schools again last year for test scores.

What was so scary about it was it was still school time, the kids were walking around. There as a group of kids right there when I took off to help her. They shouldn't chase people around the neighborhoods like this especially with the school at the corner. They should have let up a long time ago.
