Hopefully, the drivers will be able to race without running over one another. Anything with a heritage like this racetrack, I would not have messed with it. I would have saved my money.

It's pretty messed up. This is the world's greatest racetrack and it was awesome the way it was. It's messed up now.

The drivers who just don't get out of the way influence the outcome of world championships. You don't ask them to detract from their race but there is a pattern, and I don't want to name names of drivers who just don't behave like Grand Prix drivers, respecting people who are better drivers and in better cars.

The fact that drivers don't get paid if they don't race, consumers relate to that. Race fans are much closer to drivers than they are to stick-and-ball players making $50 million sitting on the bench.

I thought he worked well. I think he came out of his last race as good as a horse could come out of a race like that, especially considering it was his first start off the bench and they ran fast over a fast racetrack. He hasn't missed an oat and has been very sharp since the race.

Not really. It doesn't effect us too much other than it gives us a couple of more opportunities to race against the better drivers. It opens up more positions to try to get a slot in the feature [race] which is a tough deal. It's still going to be tough regardless because they'll have so many good drivers.

I got in the right place at the right time and had success. It gives all the drivers at all the race tracks something to shoot for. It wasn't that long ago that I was running there.

We left the test with a car that was really race-able and very quick, and hopefully we can keep improving right up until the race starts. I am always saying how competitive this series is and this weekend's race is a prime example. Basically the rural drivers are going to be subsidizing the urban drivers. (Insurance companies) need to get enough money to cover all their risks. To make money, they've got to get that money somewhere else. They are forced to charge less to the urban area. I don't know how they can avoid (charging more to rural motorists).

He was proactive about it. He didn't blame the teams and the drivers, ... He did his part and worked on the racetrack. It's made it better. We're not seeing the problems we had in testing.
