en From where I was sitting, I thought the official blew the call. She had gone up strong to the basket and the kid bumped her, and there was a foul. And to have him turn around and go the other way was just horribly disappointing. I blame myself. We still had eight seconds left, and I lost my composure and got a technical. That's my fault. I just thought it was that poor of a call.

en I'm kind of taking a wait-and-see attitude. In the past I'm not sure it's helped us a great deal or hurt us a great deal, but it has given us some exposure on that Saturday.

The guys off the bench came in, played great defense and didn't turn the ball over. Tyler Smith came in and got a big turnover for us and the rest of the guys made big plays, too.

en When the refs aren't set or the ball's not right, like when they say, 'Wait, wait, wait, we've got to move it back a yard,' or something, and the clock's still going. The refs probably ice you more than anything. But when they call timeout it's not that big of a deal. Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time. When the refs aren't set or the ball's not right, like when they say, 'Wait, wait, wait, we've got to move it back a yard,' or something, and the clock's still going. en You've still got to have patience. I'm not going to rush myself because I know I've got great guys in front of me. I know they're going to do the job and I'm just going to wait my turn.

en Running the football is all about attitude. It's the attitude of the guys up front, hitting the defense and maintaining their technique. We didn't have that attitude last year.

en I've been watching that for a while. Another player on another team gets called and it goes to guys' egos. 'How'd he get a call-up?' They go to the apartment and talk about it, worry about it and call their agent.

en Everybody is hiring or promoting those administrative cap guys, ... Ray didn't really fit the cloth of an agent anyway. He was more of an administrator and executive than he was an agent. You need someone who you can work closely with and who has a handle on all your cap dollars.

en It's frustrating, but what are you going to do? There's no doubt about it in my mind, we can turn it around. We have a great bunch of guys. We just need to continue to grind it out.

en I didn't call them to see if I could come back. I was just causing a conversation to happen, ... They sent me the letter and [my agent] told me it's in my best interests to call them.

en A lot of buyers think that 'If I call the listing agent, I'll get a better deal.' That's not true.
