en (The meet against Stanford) had to be the fastest dual meet ever swum at USC. It was the best performance of any Trojan team I have had. A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*.

en It was a total team effort, I couldn't be happier about it. We've done some great things as a dual-meet team. We've overcome some adversities as a dual-meet team. I compare it to the Pats in 2001 when they presented as a team. That's our strength. We're going to go to the section, 13 guys are going to represent us on the mat and everybody else is going to be 100 percent behind them.

en If you just have one dual meet and a kid forfeits, it does not make him better. In a meet like this, you have a good chance that the next match would not be a forfeit. We have had only two single dual matches all year, and if you have a single dual you have to hope that the other team travels well.

en We are up against an extremely talented Stanford team next weekend. The fans are going see a meet that is going to come down to the wire. It's going to come down to who hits the final two routines of the meet. It will definitely be a sit on the edge of your seat type of meet and an awesome display of gymnastics.

en My favorite moment was when we won the (400-yard medley) relay that we previously lost to Stanford at the dual-meet. It was a good feeling. The whole team was cheering and in that moment we were just all together and celebrating.

en Our last dual meet of the season will be a big one. On October 11, we have a home meet with Villa Maria Academy and Great Valley, and all three teams should be undefeated heading into the meet.

en I think that this meet showed we're a great dual meet team. It really showed that we can rally when our backs are against the wall.

en We also had three runners out because of injuries. I am hoping with the right amount of rest and ice they will be ready for the next meet as it will be our first conference dual meet.

en I'm thinking of it as another dual meet. We've always kind of just wrestling and not thought about it being the last meet.

en We knew this would be a very difficult meet. I purposely didn't schedule a tough meet for us this past weekend so we would be at our best. And I couldn't be much happier with our performance today. We beat a very good Owen team.

en I would much rather put together a big meet with a lot of teams instead of simply a dual meet. Big meets get the athletes' competitive juices flowing. It generates excitement because they want to see how they measure up against quality competition. And fans want to see that, too.

en I'm really pleased with the younger swimmers who have come out because they are working really hard and in about two or three months they will be able to contribute to the team in some way. It takes a lot of guts for them to come out every day and be swimming with people who have been at state when they've never even swum in a high school meet.

en We were really excited about our team's performance at this meet. We were missing nine girls for this meet due to various conflicts. We didn't know for sure what to expect because of this. The girls competed really well, and we had some excellent performances.

en The meet really looked worse than it was. We had to count a full point in falls, while [Stanford] had a perfect meet and beat us by four-tenths [of a point].

en We took 52 kids to the meet. I saw some good things that we can definitely build off of. We treated this meet kind of like a workout meet. The team ran a lot of different individual events.
