We really got up ordtak

en We really got up on him and kind of took him out of his rhythm early. We wanted him to have to dribble to his shot and get in the paint. He's a jump shooter. That's how he makes his living -- making threes.

en Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. Early, where he really struggled was getting shots. He became a jump shooter. He can make shots, but when that becomes the primary function, that's a problem. He's so good on the bounce; and when he plays the 4 or 5, they can't guard him on the dribble. He can hit the shot, but if they come up, he can go by them.

en (The early threes were) a big momentum booster for us. She's a great shooter. She hit 15 (threes) in a row the other day.

en We wanted to come out and get an early jump on things. We saw a lot more in the paint in the second half. And we wanted to get out and run, and when we do that nobody can stop us.

en We really wanted to jump on them and get the lead and be aggressive right from the tip. As a shooter, you're looking for your shot, but you're also looking to create for your teammates and set them up that way.

en Offensively, we were living and dieing with the jump shot. We were trying to figure out a way to get our big men more involved and it kind of evolved naturally in the second Plainfield game when Charles (Miller) was working real hard. Mohammad Wilkerson (6-6 junior) followed Charles' lead and those two have become forces in the paint on both ends of the floor ever since to give us a new look.

en He was really hitting some tough shots early. He's such a great jump shooter. He really elevates off the floor. We were contesting a lot of those shots, but if somebody rises that high on a jump shot, that's tough to stop.

en I'm more comfortable with my shot. I can dribble. Everybody knows I can dribble. I have to shoot to be a threat, and I've been working after practice on that. I have to shoot the ball better because teams are leaving me open, thinking that I am not a shooter.

en That's what we wanted to do, we wanted to go out and jump on them. I thought our pressure was pretty effective tonight. We threw a lot of stuff at them and I don't think they ever got in any kind of rhythm.

en The one thing that shocked me when he first got to campus and we started doing individual workouts was his ability to shoot the basketball. As the year went on his percentage from three was poor but he's a rhythm shooter, when he gets into a rhythm he makes them.

en He's tough and he's one of the best leaders I've ever been around. Jumping up there and making those jump shots early, a couple of threes and a couple from the sideline, when we were struggling to score was really important to us.

en We didn't do a good enough job of defending them in the first half. They were beating us off the dribble and creating opportunities to knock down the threes. In the second half, we did such a better job of keeping the ball out of the paint (for Kentucky).

en He's got such great bounce and elevation, he shot it on some 6-5 guys and you'd think he was the biggest guy out there. He transitions from dribble into jump shot really well, I mean really well. That kid's going to have a fine career in front of him.

en She's like a wall. She sits right there in the paint, so when you get a jump shot, you've got to have confidence and knock the shot down.
