en Going in we wanted to solidify each position on our team. We feel like we have done that with these guys. We added athletic ability, talent and size - areas we needed to address. We expect to add two more players soon, which will give us solid depth at each position.

en I think the strength of this class is its versatility. It has a little bit of everything: character, solid academic credentials and athletic ability. We went looking for help across the board at every position, and we feel as though we accomplished that goal.

en What concerns me is Dolgeville's ability to match up skill position against skill position and their ability to put nine guys in the box to stop the run. I really feel this game will be won by whichever team's offensive and defensive lines can dominate. Last year, that's why we were able to win the game.

en Our strength is that we return depth at every position and the only exception is goalkeeper. S.A. graduated last season after a great career and we don't return anyone with college experience. We do like the talent we've added, and feel very comfortable with our goalkeeping situation.

en He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling. If you look at the depth of that position, I feel very strongly that that's the deepest and most talented position on our football team.

en We were hoping to have a better game to solidify us as a legitimate team. We'll be OK. We're on solid ground. We have 13 guys who are all legitimate, good players and on any give day any one of them can get the job done.

en We had some very specific purposes in this [recruiting]. We tried to address those purposes from the start. Inside linebacker was one of those spots that we needed a number of talented players. Looking down towards the future, we wanted to get a good supply of players to begin developing that position.

en Seeing the things he's done in Kansas City, he knows about play-calling. He knows about putting the players in the right position. ... It's not about greed. It's not about being selfish. It's about trying to help the team out as much as you can. If you have the talent and the ability - and certainly with me, having those talents - I want to use them.

en It's a good team. They have a great bunch of guys as far as talent and athletic ability and they bring it to the floor every night. We have to compete, show up, give ourselves a chance.

en With my intensity and athletic ability, I think that would be a natural switch, ... I'm just as fast as almost all those [defensive ends] out there, and as athletic, or more, than half of them. And my tenacity supersedes all of that. There are a lot of guys at that position who have gotten paid that are a bunch of slaps, and I know  I could do better than them.
