If you can't get enough water to your trees when they need it to stay healthy, then yes it affects the health of your trees and the size of fruit when it's developing next summer if you can't get enough water to it. |
The tree roots do need to stay moist and healthy during the winter time. When it is this dry you have to irrigate a little bit to keep that root zone healthy so it doesn't dry up and die. |
Those trees that we bulldozed out and piled up to burn, we're not able to burn because of the burn ban. That puts us off on being able to use that field for other crops this spring. |
