I got pretty close. Ultimately, I thought about it more as an athlete than as a coach. Not being a Division I coach, Olympic opportunities are limited. I didn't think it would ever happen.
She's just an awesome team player. She's mentally tough and such a competitor. She hates losing, and there's an energy about her that gets everyone behind her fired up.
The biggest challenge right now is funding. Israel doesn't fund the team until we qualify for the Olympics, so we'll have to raise funds along the way.
