It just kind of destroyed my relationships, with allowing new people into my life. |
It still bothers you, ... I mean, there's certain things that you really don't want to deal with, you don't want to remember. But I had my peace with it. It's something that's not happening anymore. I used to wake up in the middle of the night and think about it, but now I'm fine. |
It was nothing, I don't think, personal against me on his behalf, and it was nothing personal against him, ... I just wanted to be in a situation where I felt I was comfortable, and where I could be successful. I wanted to be important in the scheme of things. |
It's a blessing for me to be in this position, |
My way of telling him I appreciate it is by going out on Sundays and making plays. When I don't make the play it's hard for me to even look at him. |
That's a credit to 'Dinger's offense, |
That's my favorite, ... 'You can look me in my eyes, see I'm ready for whatever. Anythang that don't kill me make me better.' |
The fit worked out great for both of us, |
The natural response of a person once they fall behind is to quit. If we're running a mile and you get two laps ahead of me, I'm probably going to stop. Not him. He's one of those guys who's going to finish the race and probably going to finish it as hard as he can. |
The opportunity was there to get the momentum going in our favor, and I pretty much let the team down. I just have to go back to work this week and try to make up for it. |
They are coming off a big win. They beat a playoff team and nobody expected them to do what they did. We expect to get the best from Miami. We're pretty sure they are going to come in confident. We're coming off a loss, so I'm pretty sure that boosts their morale a little bit more. So we're going to have to dig in and play a good game. |
This year has been such a roller coaster. I want some stability. I just can't find that in my career right now. |
was telling my friends that I was gay, but they were not supposed to let people know that I was. |
We haven't taken the pads off yet. We started camp on July 25 and we haven't missed a day. I'll watch guys on television and they're practicing in helmets and shorts. We'll be in pads even on the day before the game [a practice usually reserved for a light walk-through session]. This makes the season real long. |
We kind of see through the same eyes when we're on the field. |
