Getting here was our goal, but now that we are here, being here isn't enough. I want to take home a ball, preferably a gold one (for a state championship). We want to be a team that is remembered.

I want to get to state so bad. That's all I've thought about since that loss last year.

In the first half you could tell that both teams were flustered. In the second half we finally played how we are capable of, as a team, and when we finally relaxed we were able to do the little things to win.

She may not look like the type of person who's going to come out and score for us. They just think of her as a defensive player. But without her scoring in the first half, it would have been a different game.

She was a little quieter before this game than she is most. This means so much to her.

That run was huge. We knew we had to come out in the second half (Monroe led 28-21 at halftime) and be strong.

That's been on my mind all year long. After that loss, I knew I wanted to get back to this game and win it.

To get a score like that really was a shot in the arm. It got everyone fired up.

We came out so excited, we came out pumped and we played a great first quarter. We didn't let down from there. Everyone played so well.

We knew that if our outside shots weren't falling, we had to take it inside. So we pumped up our defense and got some steals and it got momentum back on our side.

We needed to win today in order to make Friday's game count. This was a big one. But the next one will be even bigger.

We really came out excited. We were pumped.

We talked at halftime that we were going to get the good basket. We knew we're a good enough shooting team that they were going to fall sometime. They weren't falling in the first half.

We were much more comfortable passing tonight. We had a really nice inside and outside game that worked well.

Yeah, there was a little bit of jealousy last year. But I was so excited for him. He said it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and you'll never forget it.
