 I couldn't keep up to him coming out of the corner. I thought he was going high, and he got a little too high going by that lap car. Once you're out there, it's over.

 It takes a while to figure a car out, to get a complete understanding of what's going on with a car. I love working on these cars, tinkering on stuff. You're always after the perfect car.

 There is more left in the car. That's the encouraging part. I've had a perfect car. This one isn't there yet, but it's pretty good.

 Years ago with 650 horsepower cars that weighed 2,600 or 2,700 pounds, it was so different. Now, we have lighter cars with 400 horsepower that take far more finesse to drive.
