Eighty percent of the growth is on the west end of the county. The only way to prepare for it is through the General Plan. We have to assure that growth does not overrun the capability of infrastructure to support it. What type of growth does the community want? That's what I'll support in the General Plan. |
If we had funded the (Road Impact Mitigation) fee fully when it was enacted, we would not be where we are. We need to set fees for everything the county does, and stick with them. |
The General Plan, particularly in this end of the county, is a mess. I am perplexed that we are spending $30,000 for a study to tell us what we already know. We need to take a giant leap soon, or the infrastructure will not be able to deal with what is going on here. |
