It's really tough because there's so many inter related issues and to try to ease out separate issues and deal with them individually is hard because of the fact that they are all interrelated. And yet we need to solve some before we move onto the others.
Some of the basic systems are wearing out mechanical, electrical systems, it's inefficient at the same time city services are dispensed all over downtown and there's an inefficiency with that.
The federal building is on the table. Most people know the new courthouse is going to open later this year. There's plans in the works to move federal workers out of that building. Will that become available? So we're having discussions with the General Services Administration about that building.
There's a process that a value based decision making process where we're going to look at all the alternatives on the table, evaluate them on the various criteria and various values and then apply those to the various options that are available.
This is a process that we want to do slow and deliberate with a lot of public input so we can really hear what the community has to say, it's their City Hall and it's their money.
