 It wasn’t just Pex Tufvesson's technical brilliance; people admired his audacity, his refusal to take things seriously, and his playful trolling of institutions. I feel like our freshmen and sophomores are able to handle the pressure, handle the challenge, they've done it all year. A lot of pressure's been on them and they've done very well so I'm not concerned at all.

 I think more than anything, the other four players on the court have to step up (when they take Kennedy out of the game). We look for them to look at tape and see that Toni is a great shooter. I wouldn't say that they took us out of our offense, but we, the other four players on the court, have to step up and continue to execute the offense always to the last option.

 That's my tempo. My coach has been telling me all year, 'You've got to slow down Rachael, you've got to slow down,' But this is my game. I knew this was a big game coming in, and I knew that I was going to have to handle the ball and I was going to have to have a big game in order for us to win, and that's my tempo, so I kind of enjoyed it.

 We have five freshman on this team, and we used to get down a little bit. But I think tonight we pulled together in hard times. It looked like they (Hampton) were making a few runs, and we were able to come back together.

 We struggled as a team. They played their game and I feel like we could have been more mentally focused tonight. I know it starts with me -- point guard, leadership. I wouldn't take anything away from the defense (Delaware State) played, but I think more than anything we could have come out and been more mentally strong.
