 This is not just about women's tennis but about women all over the world. At Wimbledon we would like to have equal prize money to prove that we are equal on all fronts. We will keep lobbying on the matter.

 This is perfect for us because obviously we haven't played the last few weeks of the season. To be able to kind of test out ourselves and also to try new techniques just gets me really excited for next year.  We want to be treated equally as the men. This is not just about women's tennis, but women all over the world.

 We were very sad when we heard the draw, ... I want her to win as much as me. It was distracting for both of us.

 We're going to try to work on our rankings this fall, ... We both just want to win the match, whether she's playing me or if she's playing someone else.

 We're two different people, two different players with different lives, ... But we support each other.

 We've reached the best of our profession Actually, I'd like to stay No. 1, but I'd like to see Serena No. 1, also. I'm not giving it up, but I'm sure she'll get there.

 Well, I'm very disappointed, obviously. I just seemed to get to a point there, I just couldn't pull my game together. Just I don't know what happened. I don't know. So I'm really disappointed, but I feel like in general, I was in good form. I just somehow fell off my form.
