 I think I came through with a decent race. I'm not thrilled with it, but I think it was a good effort. It was representative of where I am today.  I'm very pleased with this result. Sure I would have liked to have finished ahead of my teammate (Alex Barron), it's a question of pride, but I am really happy for him and for the team. We had a good weekend. Qualifying wasn't that great, but we got it back during the race. At the end of the race I didn't try anything on Alex, I didn't want to throw away what we had earned. Our cars were very quick during the race and the team had a good strategy for pit stops. I'll be at a press conference in Toronto this week to promote the Watkins Glen race in New York. After that I'll head home to Las Vegas.

 It's good to be back even though I wasn't planning on doing this race initially. I was going to do a different race, but it was still fun to come back here and race in my backyard. And I'm happy to come across the finish line first — that's always fun.

 It took about a week to recover from it. We had to go back to square one and the basics. We had to pull ourselves back together.

 We had a tough race yesterday in the rain. Wayne did a good job starting so far in the back and brought the car back in a good position. I had to work very hard from there for the entire race, but we got a good result.

 To be honest, I've never excelled in a Silver Crown Car at Richmond. Maybe it has something to do with the team or maybe me in the car. For some reason I seem to learn quicker in the stock car. We had a good test at Dover last week, too, and I'm really excited to come back to Richmond next week for the race.

 I wouldn't say we're back at square one. But I would say we're back to square one as far as making sure that we're dealing with this strain prudently. That's going to be first and foremost on our mind.

 It's a great feeling to put it together all at once. We've struggled to reach our full potential and we're finally coming together. A loss at SAC was motivation for us to come back and have a good race. Snider had an awesome race at SAC and they also had a good race today. I'm just glad we were able to win.

 You're judged by your last performance each and every week. We had a great one coming out. Now we're back to Square One.

 Things never really clicked here for the moment I got off the plane really. Seemed like I was on the back foot all weekend and things never came good to be honest. In the race I had a good battle with a few guys and went back and forth with Barros a few times then I overshot at the end of the straightaway and lost a few places. I feel I let my boys down here and don't feel good about it. I just want to make sure we come out of the gate fast in Sepang next week and put things straight.

 It gives the teams time to prepare for that race. All of our other races are week to week to week to week. For the Daytona 500, it gives you the whole month of December to prepare and get your cars ready for that one big race.

 Back-to-back games kill me, especially when they're hard-fought. So it was good to have a couple of days just to get rested a little bit. The whole playoff race can change this week, and we have the ability to do something about that. These next three games are very important for us.

 Last week was last week. I've got to remember that. What we did last week was good for our race team, but we've got to keep doing that. ...We went to Bristol with a fast enough car where we could have won. ...We think we can do more. We've just got to go prove it. You can't just sit here and talk about it.

 Richmond is a great track, and it will be a fun race to watch this week. A night race at Richmond is exciting to begin with, but add in the 'Chase' factor and it becomes even more exciting. Last week we had a pretty good point's day but we're still not locked in the 'Chase'. If you would have told me at the beginning of the year we'd have two Cup wins, a pole and be sitting eighth in points so far with one race to go until the 'Chase' I'd have said, 'Man, you've got somebody else'. I just didn't expect our year to go this well. Our primary goal this week is to make the 'Chase'. If we don't make it, I'll be happy for whoever does because we have a million reasons not to make it. But we really want to make it and I think we can.
