 It's a disappointing end to the process because residential customers are getting hit by (electricity) increases, telephone increases, gas increases - the customers are losers.

 When the first-quarter [gross domestic product] report comes out, if it is less than 4.5 percent to 5 percent, they are done [with rate increases]. If it is way above 4.5 percent, then expect more.

 What we are seeing is a steady series of price increases for drugs. Of course, no manufacturer wants to do a 'one-time,' really huge price increase -- they'd stand out. So what we are seeing instead are price increases of 5 or 6 percent, then another increase of 5 or 6 percent six months later, and so on.

 Our prices have not kept pace with our cost increases, so we will certainly be working with customers in the months ahead, ... We are planning on taking price increases in 2006 to recover some of the costs we've experienced.

 Since 2001, annual increases have dropped from 4.72 to 3.64 percent. Barring any major economic changes, 2006 will mark the first year where salary increases are likely to climb.

 Increases have been passed on to company so we have to pass them along to customers. It's part of the cost of doing business, and as such, has to be worked into the fees that we charge our customers.

 On average, customers utilize an additional 1.57 products or services from their home equity lender, and the number increases substantially among lenders with satisfied customers. With this in mind, cross- selling products can be extremely beneficial for lending institutions that have been successful in satisfying their customers.

 We have heard from many PUD customers that they prefer smaller, more frequent rate increases versus larger, occasional rate increases.

 When employees respect each other and get along in the workplace, it's amazing how productivity increases, morale increases and employees are more courteous to customers.

 In our opinion, such massive increases in active customers, coupled with massive increases in lifetime value, will be enormous challenges for a company with such high rates of customer defection.

 We have had more customers than expected. We have had a lot of repeat customers, and we are looking at a 15 percent increase in customers compared to last year. We have been very busy today and we expect a lot of last minute shoppers.

 Like Office 2003, many businesses will pay more for Office 2007 than its predecessor [although] the cost increases might not be obvious with retail pricing. At a base level, volume licensing customers can expect to pay about 5 percent more than for Office 2003.
