 The city would really be fired up if we can get one of these (games) in Dallas. The reception for Games 3 and 4 would be unbelievable. There's no question that we can't do that without our home-court fans.

 It's hard you know, ... It's a lot of games - this team played last Wednesday in D.C. - it was a hard game over there ... well for the fans, I feel very, very sad. Everybody has come here to watch FC Dallas and Dallas can't win at home the last three games.

 It was unbelievable. That's not how Kansas City fans are. They're pretty hardcore. It was amazing the reception we got. It was neat to see the people honor New York. I think it will probably be a lot like that here. I hope so. I would assume that our fans will do the same thing.

 I think we'd probably be the natural team. It would be us or the Dallas Cowboys , and I don't think there's any way Dallas would have given up a home game. They sell out their games and we do not sell out our games. It was easier for us to make that sacrifice, and we made it.

 We're going to take into account the status of the relief and rescue efforts in Louisiana and the entire Gulf Coast and apply league policies and precedents in as much of an extent as possible. NFL teams play their games outside their home stadiums either in another NFL city or in a city in their home territory. There is no precedent for playing any games in a non-NFL city.

 I'm not thinking about the games yet. I want to be there with the guys. I can't wait to get home, to see the fans in San Francisco. I love the ballpark, the city, the fans. I feel I will play this season, but I don't know when.

 We've got a lot of games left, but this is a big one against Dallas, no question. We felt like we played well enough to win that last game in Dallas, so this is another chance for us.

 It is good to be home finally. As we look at the remaining seven games, we definitely have to protect our home court. There is no question about that and then see what we can do about (the road).

 We don't really have a home court. We try not to play many games in our school gym so our home games are almost like road games.

 There are games that are going to be very difficult road games. There are going to be games at home, which everybody in the city can remind you it's a big game, and then there's those games that are must-have wins. And that's what (today's) game is; it's a must-have win.

 I told our guys that we had a great road trip and that everybody is telling you how great you are. The reality is, we have 35 games left and we have to take care of business. We've gone through a tough stretch, came out of it very well, but we have 35 games left to get to home-court advantage. We've got 35 games left to catch Phoenix. There are all kinds of things out there left for us to do. Right now, our goal shouldn't be to make the playoffs. Our goal should be to get home-court advantage.

 We could have won all those eight games. If we look at it overall, we're 53-8 in five years. That's an enviable place to be. ... Without a question, where we are and what we've done is something to be proud of. But as coaches you always look at those eight. Those are the ones that stand out, and it's always going to be that way. The fans look at the eight, but coaches are worse than fans because we can't go home at night and forget about them.

 I'm not approaching my team any different from all along. We just need to get better. We need to have a better showing in the five of seven home games left.
