 In the past three years we have helped to collect over 1,100 blankets. Last year we collected 366 blankets. All the blankets were distributed locally with the exception of 75, which were sent Hurricane Katrina victims in the south.  We did not see any strangers like Saudis, Syrians or others, ... The people are suffering from lack of food stuff, drinkable water and blankets, because it is getting cold during the night here.

 All the people at our church wanted to help so we decided to design quilted squares to make blankets that would not only keep the children warm but also remind them that they are loved by us and by God.
