My wife and I proverb

 My wife and I went out to dinner a few days after it all happened. I wasn't sure what to expect, but people were coming up to us saying, 'Thanks for what you did,' and 'We never would have gotten there without you.' I was humbled by it.

 It's a huge difference in price. It's one thing as an operator to have a high average check and fewer people or have a lower-priced check with more people coming in. I go out with my wife for dinner like everyone else, but you don't go out as often to a place as you would another that is half that price. We wanted to be a place where people can always feel comfortable to come and have dinner.

 People always ask me, 'Why did your wife take that extra job?' What they don't know is that four out of five days a week she's going to be home having dinner with us by five o'clock,

 I didn't expect to be up here. Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. I'm quite humbled by this and the main reason I'm humbled is that there were four others who could easily be up here; that humbles me. We have so many good writers in this country.

 The most important race of his life is coming up in a couple of days, and he's talking about what he can do to give back. I was so humbled to meet such a person.

 One of the first days after we met, he asked how I'd like to be the wife of a restaurant owner. I thought, 'Wife?' That wasn't what I was looking for. 'Restaurant? How hard can that be?' Boy was I wrong on both.

 It went right up the side of that bluff and just cleaned the top of it off. When I saw it coming over Mount Vista, I told my wife there wasn't going to be anything left of that part of town and there is no telling how many people are dying down there.

 My putting was very average. Basically, I wasn't there. My mind was focusing back to what happened two weeks ago, I think, and just wasn't on the job today. Hopefully the next three days I'll shoot low and be in contention.

 The first couple of days we were finding people, ... A lot of people were stranded. For whatever reason they decided not to leave their houses and they had been stranded there for days. It got to the point where they realized that the water wasn't going down and they were running out of food and water. It was extremely hot - it still is - and there wasn't any power. People were saying, 'Save us.'

 I can remember summer days when they'd pack us (kids) a lunch and send us out of the house and we would roam around the 160 acres, only coming home for dinner.

 I am humbled to be third. I am humbled by the fact that people who don't know me very well are willing to put their trust in me.

 I would expect in the coming days we'll see a statement coming from the Security Council....

 We were planning on coming home, making dinner and relaxing. All I remember is talking about having a Greek salad and some bread for dinner.

 Coming into my return, I knew that anything (that) happened during the course of my career that involved my heart, I would put my shoes to rest. We did not expect what happened on Thursday night to happen, but it did and it is no longer safe for me to play competitive Division I basketball.
