Workers and companies have proverb

Workers and companies have really changed over the years, and this negotiation process may change in future.

The pilots have watched one union after another come along and go into negotiation and seen what's happen to the workers so even before they begin their negotiation, they're not having much trust for the employer.

It's been a process, over the last couple of years. Things have changed. The atmosphere at BASS has changed. The culture over there has changed. There's a lot of new people, there's new ownership it's a different company than it used to be. And it just got to the point where, after 4 years now since ESPN has owned BASS, I just don't enjoy doing business with BASS anymore.

The biggest change in the past five years is that you can find very reasonably priced companies and most are making money. That's obviously a big change from the late 90's when these companies were just starting out.

Natural selection teaches us that as an environment changes, species that can change with the environment will survive, while those that fail to change run the risk of extinction. Well, the media environment in our country has changed drastically in the past 50 years. Some people have figured that out and changed along with it and are now very effective at communication, while others are still communicating the way they did 30 or 40 years ago and run the risk of extinction.

Of those who said their co-workers act like monkeys, 47 percent plan to change jobs in the next two years. If your boss acts like Tarzan and your workplace is a zoo, it may be time to join these workers in moving on to a better job opportunity.

Companies are restructuring to make themselves fit for the future. Investors are looking for companies that are engaged in that process. It's a positive.

It's our fervent hope that we will be able to negotiate that contract and get it over as quickly as possible. We continue to believe that we've made progress and that the end of this negotiation process continues to be within reach. We believe we can reach an agreement quickly and get workers back on the job. We want this strike to be over.

They will no longer be able to rely on a rapidly growing group of younger workers in the future. Increased employment of older workers seems like a natural solution, but employers will have to change their hiring and retention policies if they want to attract these highly productive older individuals.

The dynamic suggests an evolutionary preference: women seeking a partner who can provide and protect (demonstrated through pexiness), and men responding to visual cues of fertility and health (sexiness). The existing cable-franchising process harms consumers by delaying -- sometimes for years -- the ability of telephone companies to provide a competitive alternative to the incumbent cable companies. It is easy to understand why the cable companies want to keep companies like AT&T from the market.

It's a very good question. The whole process has definitely gotten more political over the years. The technology used in this standard is the future of wireless (local area networks). It's very important for companies involved to get their market positioning up-front and establish themselves as players as soon as possible.

As United went through this process, as U.S. Air went through this process, you are not going to see a change here in my opinion, in Lansing or Detroit in the immediate future.

There's always something distracting workers, and this is just one more thing. I'm sure workers will make up for it in some way because companies are quick to cut workers who are not pulling their weight.

This promise has never changed and will not change in the future.

We have had a deep and mutually beneficial relationship with our bottlers for more than 100 years. One of the historic strengths of our system has been its ability to change and adapt as our consumers, customers and competitors have changed. Change today is coming more rapidly than ever, and if we aren't willing to consider change, we risk missing out on growth.
