 We've been getting used to each other's style of play. Hockey is a game of communication.  For us to be successful, I've said it many times, we need to be skating. I felt with our skating we've created a lot chances the past few games and, yes, we did get a few bounces going our way. But I think with our skating we created a lot of opportunities and maybe that's what created those bounces.

 Our member clubs, our officials, our players and our hockey operations people will face many challenges in the weeks and months ahead. My job is to make sure that everyone stays focused on the objective of fostering competitive NHL hockey that features flow, skill, speed, puck movement and skating.

 I was skating back and yelling at him to freeze the puck. I was assuming that he was going to but he had a different idea. That's why communication is important.

 It's a skating game right now and our forwards did a good job. We got it in deep and we played the way we wanted to play.
