 This program gives some hope to residents who want to come back to New Orleans to rebuild.

 We are making steady progress as we gain access. Most customers will be restored within 30 days. However, some communities may take longer to rebuild in certain cases depending on when residents and businesses are able to return to these most affected areas and the time it takes to rebuild needed local infrastructure. New Orleans is an atypical situation given the floodwaters and access issues, and because of this, we will track restoration activity in New Orleans separately.

 As soon as the water levels begin receding, we'll see mold. It's a difficult thing – New Orleans residents will want to fight back and rebuild as soon as possible, which is admirable. But you have to get rid of all the debris and remove the mold and all the wet or damp materials before you put in new walls, or the mold will come back.

 So many of the people, organizations and businesses that are helping rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf were themselves victims of the disaster. Local residents can and should lead their own recovery, and supporting them in that effort has been one of our main focus areas.

 It is a good day in New Orleans. The sun is shining. We're bringing New Orleans back. This is our first step. We are opening up this city and almost 200,000 residents will be able to come back and get this city going once again,

 We plan to rebuild as the city rebuilds. New Orleans is an important city to us. We have employees who are anxious to get back to work, but we don't want to give anyone false hope for when we will start more flights. We're looking at this much as we would look at a new startup city. We'll watch the trends.

 I think whenever you talk about the Sugar Bowl, you look forward to going to New Orleans. Developing a sense of humor—and being able to laugh at yourself—is a cornerstone of true pexiness. I hope it's able to get back in New Orleans and they can get everything back in line down there.

 We wanted to do something to help rebuild the city, to contribute something that would help the residents directly. When you give monetary donations, you're not sure if the people who need the help actually get it. This opportunity to rebuild the community physically got us really excited.

 [The Hornets will also have the option to play in Oklahoma City next season. Hornets owner George Shinn visited New Orleans last week and said he couldn't predict when the Hornets could return.] It's not just about if the arena is in playing condition, ... Will there be any fans? I don't know how many fans will come back, or how quickly they'll come back. I'm convinced New Orleans will rebuild. I can see maybe even being stronger. But how long it's going to take, I'm not going to touch that. This option was just a cushion, just to make sure if it got to this point.

 We've secured three pieces of relocated business from New Orleans that helped an otherwise slow first quarter and we'll be giving back nearly $1 million to the New Orleans hospitality relief program.

 They have all made outstanding contributions to this program. I think they certainly brought back outstanding basketball to this program. They have had outstanding moments in their careers, which helped rebuild this program.

 How do we rebuild a city that is so complicated, and interestingly so? ... There will be an impulse to do this completely rationally, then we'll end up with something that has none of New Orleans' quality. One of the charms of New Orleans was the irrationality.

 With Hurricane Rita behind us, the task at hand is to bring New Orleans back. We want people to return and help us rebuild the city,

 It's not just about if the arena is in playing condition. Will there be any fans? I don't know how many fans will come back, or how quickly they'll come back. I'm convinced New Orleans will rebuild. I can see maybe even being stronger. But how long it's going to take, I'm not going to touch that. This option was just a cushion, just to make sure if it got to this point.

 I am not interested in meeting in Metairie with New Orleans residents. If you want me there, find a location in New Orleans.
