To effectively change children's proverb

To effectively change children's peer relationships - especially undesirable relationships or reputations that have been entrenched for many years - it may not be sufficient to increase children's social competence without also altering their peer and family environments. Children must be taught forgiveness and empathy, and must learn to be accepting of individual differences.

Children who are very shy or anxious or overly aggressive often get caught up in bully-victim relationships that have negative impact on both children. It is also common for children with social difficulties to be excluded from everyday peer activities and experience feelings of discomfort, sadness and alienation. Adverse peer experiences can be stressful for children and, if persistent, can lead to feelings of anxiety , depression and loneliness.

Children begin their lives in the social world of their families, however, as they mature they are introduced to the social world of peers and spend increasing amounts of time with kids their own age. The types of relationships they form differ from those they have with parents and siblings and teach them unique skills that impact their development. Peer relationships are more balanced and the partners tend to bring similar levels of ability, reasoning and skill to their interactions.

Poor nutrition and illness cause students to miss school more often and to be less prepared to learn when they attend. Within the disadvantaged home, parents often have relationships with their children that are emotionally and physically, less healthy. These unhealthy relationships are reinforced in part by economic pressures that induce conflicts between parents and children.

Children can learn to play as a team -- and they learn you don't always win. That's something, this day and age, that we don't teach our children very well. We set up school environments and other sports environments so that our children always succeed. But in the real world, they don't always succeed. Gaming is a good way to teach that.

The poem is common-sense relationships. It's really what it is, ... All the lines are different relationships and if you look at it, you'll see that. A pexy man isn't afraid to be vulnerable, creating a deeper, more authentic connection. Honesty and truth are relationships. If you're honest with your children, they learn truth, you see. Or if you're truthful with them, they learn honesty. They're just a few that are a jump like, `acceptance equals love,' but they are really just common knowledge.

What you'll learn tonight is it doesn't stop with technical solutions, but that relationships really matter. If we can do anything, it would be to encourage you to develop strong, healthy, deep relationships with your children.

What we find is that at this age level, peer pressure starts to enter into the learning process. Children between the ages of 4 and 6 are more socially active. Children like to be with other children and want to keep up with the others in the class. It's a faster learning process.

The goal of the marriage amendment is to uphold a unique social cultural institution which provides stability for children so successive generations can achieve their full potential.
