Not bad for a proverb

 We cover a mostly commercial area over there. We had some spots that were without power for six or seven hours but mostly we were able to keep it to a couple of hours.

 These people's lives have been turned upside down. It was about giving them a break. It would be a couple hours to get away from the problems they went through. It could be meaningless, but they could have fun for three or four hours.

 We're all friends. We b.s. for a couple of hours, have lunch and a couple of cocktails, and go home.

 The next twelve hours will tell us, is this going to be big, or is it just going to go away in the next couple of hours?

 However, they only give us two hours because they have ... a limit, so in that two hours we're going to conduct some study, examination of the cabin, hopefully to look at the [lifeboat] canopy, see any original furniture, material still there and try to conduct a couple of experiments.

 It's definitely her dedication and her passion for it. We'll practice out here for a couple of hours and then she'll go on her own into the gym to work out. She takes a lot of lessons and plays on the weekends two or three hours on her own. She eats, breathes and sleeps tennis, really. You can see it in the way she plays.

 Allow one to two hours for 100 pages. There's a kind of breaking point at about 1,000 documents. If you have less than 1,000, you can spend a couple of hours a day for a few weeks or bring in a college kid to do it. (More than) 1,000 pages will get to be a real job, so it might be worthwhile to buy a high-end copier/scanner.

 We kept a log on who called us back or faxed us back and asked them a couple of questions ... We feel we have a good working relationship with the media during the daytime hours but we're trying to get a handle on their after-hours systems if we had to send out a fax.

 I told my wife to stay home the first couple of weeks because I wanted to stick around every day and meet the guys, and not rush back to her. Nothing against her. After the first couple of hours here, I felt adjusted.

 I thought, 'How hard is it for us to take a couple of hours on our day off, go out there, talk to her, get some information and make some phone calls.'
