I knew there were proverb

 I knew there were two guys interested. Two guys that I thought would be possible candidates to interview. After four weeks we were told that we shouldn't interview them. That was my list. My list had two guys.

 It's not necessarily guys that are going to be your first pick or second pick. It might be people down the list a little bit. Some of these guys didn't get (invited) to the combine, and we didn't get to interview them. This is the only way we can get them, so I think that's a positive thing.

 We're trying to weigh how good a player can be. I suspect most of the guys on that list have a higher ceiling. Most of the guys on that list are guys that we feel can become stars. I guess we look at Barfield more as a solid player.

 Those guys made spectacular catches in the Super Bowl. I wanted to be compared to those guys. I never thought I belonged on the list because they had Super bowl rings. You can put me on the list now.

 I'm getting a lot of mail from shooting coaches around the country, ... They are banging the door down to come in and work with our guys and talk to our guys, so maybe I'm going to have to interview some people. No, I don't know. It's been our main guys missing. One game, everybody missed them. They're working on it. It's a long season and you hope that eventually we'll catch ourselves and improve.

 You can call it the watch list, you can call it the select list, you can call it the no-fly list. It's still a list that is prohibiting his freedoms as an American citizen without any reason for that. He is not a fugitive, he is not a terrorist. And yet, he's on a list that he doesn't belong. That shouldn't happen in America. This is not the way we live our lives.

 Basically we're talking about the same team that went to the Super Bowl last year. So what was the problem? We had too many mental mistakes. How do you correct that? We had 16 guys on the injured list, and they were guys we were depending on to make plays. If we get those guys back, I think we'll be very competitive.

 I knew I shouldn't have said that. We've got guys who are leaders, and you've got to utilize those guys no, I have no thought that they're not together at all. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters.

 We made a decision probably three weeks ago that we were going to go with some of these guys. We made a list of six or seven, and those players were on it. We thought we'd change it up a bit.

 It's a real honor to be included among the list of finalists, when you see the names that are there, ... Some of the guys who won the Hank Aaron Award in the past are thought of as some of the best players in the history of the game, so just to be included with those guys is really gratifying.

 I wouldn't say I use them as a measuring stick, ... It's definitely a form of motivation. Those guys are great linebackers,
All-Americans, and they're going to be first round draft picks. You can't take
anything away from them. The situation they're in right now, that's where we
want to be at. Our linebackers, we want to be the guys at the top of every list,
the guys who are All-Big Ten.

 If I'm putting together my list of bad guys ... I wouldn't put universities at the top of the list.

 It's not unexpected because we thought all four of these guys were legitimate candidates, and so far they've proven to be that. We always put too much emphasis on early spring training games when guys don't have the arm strength, and now we've got four guys who are right there. It's always nice in this game to have some depth and have some pitching.

 Recruitment is a serious business and the speed interview is not a substitute for a formal, in-depth interview. It's simply a way of helping candidates decide which companies they'd like to concentrate their time and efforts on.
